• scripting: This permission allows the extension to inject minimal code into web pages you visit in order to analyze them for phishing indicators. This code does not collect any personal data or tracking information.
• storage: This permission is used to store the extension’s settings (such as any custom preferences), and any internal settings needed for the plugin to function correctly. This information is stored locally in your browser’s storage and is not shared with third parties.
• tabs: This permission is used to get the url of the opened tabs to check them against phishing database in real-time. We do not collect any browsing history data from this.
• webNavigation: This permission allows us to monitor navigation events so the extension can check all URLs and any redirects. We do not collect any browsing activity information.
• Host Permissions: We require permission to access specific host domains only to download the latest list of phishing URLs. This list is used only to check web sites for phishing attempts. This information is not used for any other purpose. All communication is over secure connections. We will clearly list all domain names we need to connect to in our extension manifest and on this page.

3. How We Protect Your Information

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is nothing for us to protect in the traditional sense of personal data. However, the extension's code is reviewed carefully to protect against any security vulnerabilities. We use secure communication methods to communicate with our backend when checking the most up to date list of phishing sites.
